A cat stroller can be a great way to bring your cat out on walks without having to worry about leash training or them running away from you. It is also a great way to allow an injured cat to get a bit more freedom and mobility. There are many varieties of cat strollers available and can be quite difficult to choose the best one for your kitty.

You will need to know the size and weight of your cat prior to choosing a cat stroller. This is because they come in quite a few different sizes and you want to make sure that you get one which your cat will be comfortable in.

To start, most cats enjoy a stroller which is cozy and comfy. They do not want something which is hard and looks like a cage. Instead, something which allows them to lounge and get comfortable is ideal.

Many cat strollers are broken into two parts. The front which is netted or otherwise see through, and the back which is private and hidden. This is important for a cat who may decide that they do not wish to see the outside world anymore and wish to retreat into privacy. This type of stroller gives them that option.

Think about what you are going to be doing with the cat stroller. Will you be simply walking around your neighborhood on the sidewalk? Or will you be jogging? Are there times that you would like to take it off the sidewalk and onto trails and such? Each of these situations needs a different type of cat stroller. A regular walking stroller will not be able to handle jogging or rough terrain.

Many of these strollers come with a rain cover, or you can purchase one separately. I recommend that you purchase one when buying the cat stroller to ensure that if it does rain, your cat does not get wet. I know you get unhappy when it rains, but your cat will be madder that you can even imagine!
